Sesshin 17th-21st May 2023 in Falun with Karen Terzano and Magnus Norén

We will arrange a sesshin in beautiful Lindsberg a few kilometers outside of Falun. Karen and Magnus will share the teaching and we invite everyone to come join us for an Ordinary Mind sesshin in Falun once again.

Lindsberg is a commune and a conference center centered on courses in nature preservation and ecologial farming. The course wing of the house that we will rent has a big old "church hall" that will be our zendo and various sized rooms with built in bunk beds in the multi-person rooms. Lindsberg is situated in the middle of the Swedish pastoral landscape and the castlelike house is shaded by a big oak. The house is privately situated at the end of a road in the tiny village at the border of the forest. there are several walkways into the forest and fields.

Our sesshin is an intensive silent meditation retreat in zen buddhist style with several hours of seated meditation per day, vegetarian food, and one individual interview with one of the teachers a day. We welcome both experienced practitioners as well as beginners but suggest beginners contact us for an introduction and a chance to get some meditation experience before the retreat. 

The price for the sesshin is 3000 SEK. An application fee of 500 SEK, included in the Sesshin fee, will not be returned upon a late cancellation.

Intro till zen och zazenkai med zenmästare Karen Terzano

Vi har förmånen att få ta del av zenmästare Karen Terzanos inspirerande undervisning under två dagar 13-14 maj. Oavsett om du har tänkt börja meditera, är intresserad av zen eller buddhism eller redan har erfarenhet av så är du välkommen att delta. Du kan välja att delta vid föredraget och workshopen på lördagen eller vid zazenkaien (tyst heldagsmeditation) på söndagen, eller båda dagarna. Schema och information om anmälan hittar du här.
