Welcome!

A day on this retreat includes four blocks of meditation, where we start and end the day together with an hour of sitting meditation - zazen. The remaining blocks will be, as we in the Ordinary Mind tradition call Dogen's Way, an unstructured block where you choose whether you want to do sitting meditation on a chair or cushion, do slow or fast walking meditation outside, in the yard or in the forest.

During the day of meditaion there is an opportunity for a private conversation with Joakim Rzepka who can listen, provide support and guidance in your meditation practice or answer questions that have come up during the silence, so-called daisan. Every day we also provide service & help with the household, cooking, we listening to teisho (speech),  reciting sutras, as well as a shorter yin yoga session and an 1h Feldenkrais class, ATM “Awareness Through Movement”

Feldenkrais is a sensorimotor awareness training created by  Moshe Feldenkrais (1904-1984). The purpose of the method is to raise the individual's awareness both physically and mentally. By focusing on the feeling and experience of a movement, How a movement is made, the nervous system can develop new functions and new connections with the individual's movement system, which in turn can give a feeling of ease or reduced pain.

“Make the impossible possible, the possible easy, the easy elegant”

M. Feldenkrais

The days are led by Joakim Rzepka & Jennie Louise Skoglund
